OG-CY 101 belongs to the Fartak family’s group of Coppaflorio Blue 930 Turbos. Laurenz identifies this as the only one with dark blue pinstripes around its painted Fuchs wheels. The family recollections associate the idea with Anatole Lapine’s involvement, but do not establish that he personally painted the stripes. Memories of the other cars’ wheel finishes vary.
The joint Instagram feature by Coppaflorio Registry and P1 Cars documents this specific car as CFBR No. 25 and connects it to the family’s later 964 Turbo, 964 Turbo S Lightweight and 993 GT2 commissions.
P1 Cars identifies the car as a 1985 930 Turbo commissioned through Sonderwunsch. In its newsletter, the team recounts finding the car in Italy, then spending months researching its origins, examining documents and refining its presentation for concours display. The discovery is presented as a way back into the history of the family’s Coppaflorio cars.
The P1 Cars newsletter introduces Laurenz, founder of Coppaflorio Registry, as a guest in the film The Hidden Legend. A Shade. A Story. His connection to the original family and his childhood memories form part of the documentary’s account of the car, its colour and the people behind it. The vehicle sticker and Porsche Classic identification documents agree on chassis WP0ZZZ93ZFS000638. Production is recorded as 22 April 1985. The Sonderwunsch sheet carries an order notation dated 14 November 1984 and specifies Coppa Florio / T2, Glasurit 360, Hellbeige leather and Kork carpets, together with side skirts, rear-quarter air intakes and a white headlining.
The archived P1 Cars listing describes the car as unrestored, accident-free and retaining most of its factory paint and its matching-numbers drivetrain. These remain seller statements. The newly reviewed specification documents support the identity and ordered equipment, but do not independently establish condition, originality or accident history. A signed family letter has not yet been reviewed for this record.
Laurenz confirms that P1 Cars sold OG-CY 101 to a collector in New York, USA. Correspondence dated 9 July 2026 also identifies the buyer as being from New York. The precise sale date and the car’s current location are not established by that correspondence.

A one-of-one Porsche 930 Turbo commissioned through the Sonderwunsch program, finished in extraordinary Coppa Florio Blue.
But the story goes even deeper.
This very car has been the unknown predecessor and younger brother to the famous Coppa Florio 964 Turbo, Turbo S Leichtbau and 993 GT2, all from the same family lineage and legacy. A story that would later inspire some of the most special modern Porsche Sonderwunsch builds, 992 GT3 RS’s and S/T.
